Head of Department, Auditing for Trade and Accounting
What to expect:

  • In order to maintain a positive and performance-driven corporate culture, you will be in charge of the disciplinary and technical supervision and development of staff members in the Trading & Treasury, Accounting & Reporting groups, the model testing department, and the Audit Office NY
  • You will conceptually and strategically connect your area of accountability with the corporate and divisional strategy and assist the divisional management in developing and maintaining the framework for the business' auditing function
  • In your specific area of responsibility, you are in charge of organising, overseeing, and controlling the audits specified by the Audit Universe in the bank and at the domestic and international group firms
  • You will represent the areas you are in charge of, the supervisory authorities, and the audit of audit-related topics as a knowledgeable and trustworthy contact, and you will coordinate the audit requirements in the area of audit from external requirements (including the ECB, BaFin, Fed, NYSDFS)
  • You will offer guidance/participate in important bank-wide projects, new products, and adjustments to operational procedures and structures as part of the duties specified and allowed for the audit (including MaRisk, IIA standards)

Professional Requirements:
  • Finished a commercial university degree successfully or a comparable qualification, together with additional training that is thematically appropriate and several years of management and auditing experience
  • A thorough understanding of the trading and issuing business, risk management procedures, internal control systems, relevant laws (such as KWG, CRR, and MaRisk), securities legislation, accounting, and banking regulatory reporting
  • Distinct adaptability, responsibility, and ability to make decisions, as well as rigorous performance expectations
  • High levels of cooperation and communication, good problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to deal with complexity
  • Willingness to constantly improve one's abilities and learn new subjects
